A kids’ club, with 125 children on roll, has raised standards to “good,” according to a recent Ofsted inspection.
Pinchbeck Kids Club, at Pinchbeck East Primary School, had been judged “requires improvement” in 2015.
A report published this month (March 2017) said: “Following the previous inspection, the manager has made good use of training available to extend the professional development of the staff team. Consequently, this has raised the quality of provision.
“Children’s emotional well-being is positively promoted. They are respected, valued and listened to.
“The established staff team helps to provide a warm family environment which supports children in gaining a sense of belonging.”
The report said the club is not yet outstanding because: “An effective flow of information between the club and the primary school is not yet securely established to support children’s learning.”
