Peterborough League round-up: Edgaras is Buz-ing for flying Spalding United Reserves

Two goals from in-form striker Edgaras Buzas helped Division Two leaders Spalding United Reserves to an impressive 4-0 win at Wittering in ChromaSport and Trophies Peterborough League.

Ash West opened the scoring before Jack Wycherley set up Buzas for number two.
Buzas made it 3-0 after the break and man of the match Wycherley’s efforts were rewarded with a goal.

In the Premier Division, Crowland Town grabbed only their second win of the season.
Teddy Paling, Virginijus Simkus and Mindaugas Valy were on the mark in a 3-0 home success over Uppingham Town.

Moulton Harrox slipped to a fifth defeat in 15 matches, going down 3-1 at Netherton United.

In Division One, Ben English grabbed both goals in Sutton Bridge United’s 2-1 win at Ketton.
Meanwhile, neighbours Long Sutton were being hammered 5-0 at London Road by Oundle Town.

Division Three side Spalding Town have a +39 goal difference after a 6-0 win at Stilton United Reserves. Two goals apiece from Tomasz Rabiega and Josh McGuire were supported by Scott Burrell and Tom Elderkin efforts.

Tydd St Mary sub Jake Clitheroe hit four goals in 21 minutes in a 10-3 thrashing of Riverside Reserves. He only grabbed his first in the 69th minute.
Phil Franklin hit a hat-trick and Aaron Parker, Scott Pemberton and Connor Reeves got in on the act too.
Tydd are seventh in the table with matches in hand on sides above them.
