Pete to have a close shave for charity

A Spalding 11-year-old is to shave his head to help a charity shop hit by thieves.

Pete Bailey has already donated his pocket money to St Barnabas after thieves twice stole money from its Spalding charity shop in August.

Now the Priory School pupil wants to help them further by having his head shaved. He’s hoping to do it at Barberettes in Spalding on November 10.

Jo Bailey said: “He saw the thefts in The Voice and wanted to do something.

“He’s given his pocket money away and now wants to do something extra.”
