Peppa pays surprise visit to nursery’s Wear It Pink day

A special visit by TV favourite Peppa Pig helped a Spalding nursery raise money for a good cause.

Little Treasures Nurseries, based in Haverfield Road, took part in Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink day, and all the children and staff donated £1 to dress up in something pink for the day.

Manager Rebecca Genever said: “The children were thrilled to bits when they received a surprise visit from one of their favourite pink TV characters Pepper Pig.

“They also enjoyed several activities throughout the day helping raise just over £50 for the charity and to show their support for the worthy campaign. “
