People flee Gedney Dyke house fire

People had to flee a home on fire in Gedney Dyke yesterday afternoon (Sunday, May 30.)

Five crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue attended the incident on Fleet Bank reported at around 2.25pm.

Crews from Spalding, Long Sutton, Donington, Kieron and Boston were in attendance using two main jets, one hose reel and breathing apparatus.

Two if the crews continued to be on scene into the evening dampening the site down.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “All persons were out of the property when call received by Control.”
