Pell and Chapman continue Parkrun tour

Adam Caress was the first Halmer Harrier home in Saturday’s Snowden Field Parkrun at Crowland. He completed the 5k course in 25 minutes and six seconds, for 13th place.
Clubmate Simon Eldridge was ten places further back in 26:55, with Janet Strickland 43rd, 31:13.
Harrier Scott Burrell was in impressive form at the Woolcombe Dunes Parkrun in Devon, finishing second overall in 20:32, just two seconds behind the winner in the 297-runner event, which is mainly on sand and shingle.
Jayne Pell and Kathryn Chapman continued their Parkrun tour and were at Mildenhall, finishing 71st and 79th respectively in 35:39 and 37:17. It was Pell’s 79th venue, eight more than Chapman.
Mike O’Connor was 95th of 365 runners at the Warwick Racecourse Parkrun in 24:09, and Deborah Preston came 270th of 564 at Ferry Meadows, near Peterborough.
