Pedestrian struck by car is in “very serious condition”

A pedestrian is in a “very serious condition” in hospital after being hit by a car in Gosberton.

Police said: “The man was believed to have been in the carriageway of the A152 at Gosberton when he was struck by a Nissan Micra shortly after 11pm on Tuesday night.”

The man, whose age has not yet been confirmed, was initially taken to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital but later transferred to Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the pedestrian prior to the incident, is asked to call police on 01522 558855.
