Tydd’s hopes of finishing second in ChromaSport PDFL Division One are over after a 6-0 thrashing at rivals FC Peterborough on Saturdy and 3-2 loss to Moulton Harrox on Tuesday night.
The South Holland side were sitting second in the standings last, but have been leapfrogged by FC Peterborough and Deeping Rangers Reserves since.
The city side hit three goals in each half, with Arslan Ali (2), Ayman Trabelsi (2), Braudilio De Pina Rodrigues and Domingos Vaz Ferreira Sanha all on target.
Then on Tuesday, John Ball (2) and Boston Cash earned Harrox Reserves the win, with Ryan Jones and Matt Eaton the Tydd scorers.
In the same division, basement side Crowland Town Reserves grabbed only their second win of the season as they beat hosts Wisbech Town Reserves 3-1.
Joe Cole (2) and Harry Grigas fired them to victory in their penultimate game of the season.
Fellow second tier side Pinchbeck United Reserves slipped up 2-1 at champions Warboys Town in their final fixtures. Warren Hebblethwaite’s strike had them level at 1-1 at half time.
Up in the Premier Division, Holbeach United Reserves drew 1-1 with Oakham United.
Fellow top tier side Moulton Harrox saw their League Cup semi-final at Deeping Rangers Reserves abandoned early on due to a nasty injury to the home keeper.
Moulton were 1-0 down at the time thanks to a Dan Evans strike.
In Division Five B, Holbeach Bank lost 2-1 at Sawtry Reserves. Dan Leach got their goal, while Josh Cross was sent off.
