PDFL round-up: Harrox come from behind to beat Crowland, Holbeach Reserves go third

Moulton Harrox came from behind to edge out rivals Crowland Town 2-1 in a tight ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division derby duel on Saturday.

Jordan Kirchin gave Crowland a 1-0 half-time lead in the South Holland derby at Broad Lane.

But they were unable to hold off a resurgent Moulton, with Declan Earth and Andy Law netting after the interval to make it back-to-back victories for Bobby Patterson and Tim Cole’s side, who go fourth.

Also on winning form were Holbeach United Reserves, who picked up a fine 1-0 success at Oakham United.

Oliver Foster netted for the Tigers, who are sitting pretty in third.

In Division One, Tydd are flying high in second after an exciting 3-2 win over Deeping Rangers Reserves. Matt Eaton, Sam Cooper and Max Burrell got the goals in a close contest.

There was also a frantic showdown between Pinchbeck Reserves and Ramsey Town, as they drew 3-3 at Knight Street.

Leandro Manuel Silva Borges (2) and Elliott Ramsden netted for the Knights, while Ramsey had four players sent off.

However, Moulton Reserves suffered a humbling 7-1 loss at FC Peterborough despite a Martin Sandall strike.

In Division Two, Long Sutton Reserves grabbed their first win of the season as they beat Stamford Belvedere 3-0.
Aron John (2) and Simon Adcock notched at London Road.

They are now above Holbeach Sports in the table after they slipped up 4-3 at home to Stanground Sports. Goals from Bradleigh Appleby, Adam Day and Glen Wells ensured Sports put up a good fight.

Down in Division Three, meanwhile, Tydd Reserves drew 2-2 at Huntingdon Rovers and sit sixth in the table.

Elsewhere, Sutton Bridge United remain top of Division Four after a big 6-1 success over Warboys Town Reserves.

Mark Garner helped himself to a hat-trick at Memorial Park, while Ben English, Kurt Scott and Joe Sutton also netted.

Long Sutton A drew 2-2 with Uppingham Reserves at London Road in the same division.
