Patient visiting at Johnson Hospital suspended

Patient visiting at the Johnson Hospital is to be suspended.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) has suspended visiting at the Spalding hospital as well as at John Coupland Hospital, Community Hospital Louth and Skegness Hospital.

Amid the current Coronavirus Outbreak, Tracy Pilcher, Director of Nursing, Allied Health Professionals and Operations at LCHS said: “We understand this may be frustrating for family, friends and patients themselves, but due to the scale and spread of the disease and in line with recent government advice on staying at home, this is necessary for the time being.

“Staff on the wards will maintain contact with families by phone to discuss any changes to the patient’s condition and their care plans.

“Thank you for your support and cooperation and for helping us limit the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19.”
