Moulton Harrox put last weekend’s derby defeat against Pinchbeck United behind them as they bagged a fine 4-3 victory at Stanground Sports on Saturday.
Top scorer Marcus Parry took his tally for the season to 14 with a double at the In2itive Park 3G venue, while Ash Coddington and Corban Oldham also netted.
The win leaves Harrox second in the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division table, three points behind leaders Netherton United.
Also in the top flight, resurgent Crowland Town made it four wins from five games with a 4-2 home success over Stilton United. Simkus Virginijus led the charge with a treble, while Steve Paling netted the other.
It was a tough day for Holbeach United Reserves, though. They went down 6-1 at Peterborough Sports Reserves.
In Division One, Moulton Harrox Reserves made it nine wins from nine by beating Oakham Reserves 5-1 at Broad Lane. Bobby Patterson, Tom Elderkin, Laurence Price,
Louis Steadman and Danny Lambe-Hyner all netted for Kev Nottingham’s table toppers.
At the foot of the table, Spalding United Reserves are still winless after a 7-0 thumping at Warboys.
Down in Division Two, Paul Newcombe lashed home a stunning late leveller to earn Tydd St Mary a 2-2 draw at Stanground Reserves.
James Woods also netted for The Saints.
Also winners were Crowland Town Reserves, who saw off hosts Langtoft Reserves 3-1. Jordan Kirchin (2) and Connah Hunt notched for them.
Staying in Division Two, Spalding Town drew 2-2 at home against Whittlesey A thanks to goals from Tomas Ragelis and Ash Wilson.
Tydd St Mary Reserves were the big winners of the week, smashing Wittering Reserves 10-1 in Division Four. Ryan Bailey (4), Marcus Gilbertson (3) and Matt Stancer bagged in that one.
Also in the fourth tier, Holbeach Bank went top following their 3-1 triumph at FC Peterborough Reserves. Gavin Phillips and George Leatherland netted the crucial goals for Brett Schlechter’s side.
Also top of the table are Holbeach United A in Division Five. They beat Glinton and Northborough Reserves 2-1 with Dan Bergin and Rob Lewsley the scorers.
