Abbi Pulling once again displayed some impressive pre-season pace at the latest round of F4 British Championship testing.
The Gosberton speedster was at Knockhill Racing Circuit in Scotland last week for two days of testing – and her best effort was the second-fastest clocked.
In total, South Holland talent Pulling racked up just short of 300 laps north of the border, the fastest of which being 49.221secs.
That put JHR Developments racer Pulling just 0.026secs behind pace-setter Matias Zagazeta.
This impressive showing comes hot on the heels of another strong performance at Thruxton the week before.
Pulling was again second behind Zagazeta on day one, setting a time 0.083secs off the Argenti ace’s benchmark of 1.12.878mins.
She was a little further down the pack in session two, with her best of 1.13.530mins placing her seventh.
Roman Bilinski (Carlin) was top of the timesheet this time, clocking 1.13.123mins.
Posting on Facebook after her sessions at Knockhill, Pulling said: “Just short of 300 laps completed over the two days of British F4 testing at Knockhill Racing Circuit with Alice Powell and JHR Developments.
“I am racing here in August and it can’t come soon enough.”
Pulling will be hoping to keep her fine form going when the new season gets under way on May 8.
The campaign begins with a trip to Thruxton and is scheduled to end at Brands Hatch on October 24.
