Overturned lorry at A16/151 roundabout causes traffic issues

There’s been reports of traffic issues on the A16 and A151 after a lorry overturned at the junction between the two roads.

The incident happened around 6am this morning and involved a DAF lorry.

A police spokesman said: “Thankfully no one was injured and the vehicle is in the process of being removed from the scene.”

The roundabout was subject to 14 months of redesign work that ended last November and further work has been carried out in recent weeks by Lincolnshire County Council  to ‘install infrastructure to prevent verge damage by lorries’.
