This weekend sees the launch of the South Holland Outdoor Festival which runs throughout August.
There will be a range of activities at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, Spalding, on Sunday.
Arts and craft activities will be held with Red Granny’s Recreation Station and visitors will also be able to test their balance and coordination in a circus skills workshop area.
The Rock School Bus will be open for tours and there will be a range of garden games on offer.
A tombola stall is being held to raise money for local charities and there will be live music.
Visitors are being encouraged to take a picnic and spend the afternoon relaxing at the event which runs from 11.30am to 3pm. Entry is free of charge for all the festival events.
There will be a Wild Natural Medicine walk from Glen Park, Surfleet, on Monday from 10am and booking is necessary.
