Outdoor Festival across district

The South Holland Outdoor Festival has returned for the Easter holidays, with a host of great activities, free taster sessions, nature labs and seven Easter egg hunts across the district to get involved with.

Throughout the Easter holiday, a number of free dance, cheerleading and fitness ninja taster sessions are being held throughout the district by Empire Elite All Stars for children of all ages to get involved with.

Elsewhere, Nature Lab sessions in Memorial Park in Sutton Bridge and Ayscoughfee Gardens in Spalding, will take place between the hours of 10am and 2pm today (Thursday, April 6) and Tuesday (April 11) respectively.

These will include great free activities including kite making, bug hunting, nature crafts and much more!
Meanwhile, fitness enthusiasts can find an array of walks, trails and park runs to participate in all over South Holland.

Throughout the festival, there will also be seven Easter egg hunts in seven of the district’s towns and villages – Donington, Pinchbeck, Crowland, Moulton, Holbeach, Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge.

Participants will need to track down the six Easter bunnies hiding in shop windows, completed answer sheets (available in participating shops or online) can then be returned to the South Holland District Council Offices on Priory Road in Spalding or emailed to the communities team at [email protected], with seven randomly selected winners receiving an Easter hamper full of goodies.

A South Holland District Council spokesperson said: “We are delighted to be able to provide a great selection of free events and activities for children, adults and families to get involved with over the Easter period.”

“We want to encourage as many people as possible to get outside, get active, enjoy the holidays and make the most of some of the brilliant and unique opportunities available across the district.
