Offensive weapon caution after police seize man’s car

A 23-year-old man pulled over by police for driving without insurance has been cautioned for possessing an offensive weapon while driving through Spalding on Saturday, (February 5).

Officers seized the vehicle, a black BMW, just before 2.40pm after noticing it was driving on London Road in the town.

Lincolnshire Police have not specified what the weapon is.

A spokesman said: “The driver was arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon and was later released having been cautioned for the offence.”
