No sweet 16 for Spalding RFC at Huntingdon

Spalding RFC’s winless streak in Midlands One East stretched to an enormous 16 games on Saturday as they lost 48-0 at Huntingdon and District.

The loss, a 16th from as many matches this season, keeps Town bottom of the table and nine points behind nearest rivals Belgrave.

Ryan Chappell’s side visit fifth-placed Ilkeston next Saturday (2.15pm).

A full report from the Huntingdon game will follow at www.spaldingvoice.co.uk early next week.
