Enterprise Way is still closed as Anglian Water endeavour to get to the bottom of a collapse in the road.
The carriageway opened a sink hole in May and both Anglian Water and Lincolnshire County Council were hopeful of re-opening it towards the end of June.
But waste water was found in the hole and further work had to be undertaken.
Anglian Water said later it would finish until July 22, but that date has also come and gone with the road remaining closed at its junction with Edison Court, on the Wardentree industrial estate in Pinchbeck.
Anglian Water was on site this week with ground-penetrating radar equipment.
A spokesman for the company said: “The original issue was caused by a blockage in the public foul sewer, which resulted in wastewater affecting the excavation area.
“While that blockage was cleared, further investigations identified additional issues which require further investigation and repair work.
“Our teams were on site this week as we continue to investigate the ground conditions and determine the most appropriate permanent solution.
“Once these investigations have been completed, we’ll be in a better position to provide an update on the remaining programme of works and when the road can safely reopen.
“We appreciate the disruption this is causing and thank residents, businesses and road users for their continued patience.”
