There is no change at the top of the Spalding and District Billiards league this week, with the leaders and second place teams winning 7-0.
Both teams are new to billiards, but Donington B are still ahead, they enjoyed a trip to Consti and Mick Pearl (r40) taking the first game against Mick Johnson (o80) 200-67.
Neil Reynolds (o45) edged out John Bellerby (r105) by seven points and Mat Turner (r50) rounded off a good night for Donington beating Stewart Davies (r35) 200-139.
Second placed Broadway are seven points adrift, they hosted Services and had wins from Andy Wheatley (r10), Femi Akinlade (r50) and Wole Akintola (r45) against Vince Fitter (o10), Phil Spencer (r85) and Nigel Cherry (r85) respectively.
Fitter got his personal best break and the highest of the week with a fine 43, but they remain bottom of the league.
All the mid table positions remain the same, Pyramid A occupy third place although losing away to Holbeach B 4-3.
Denis Hix (r75) got Holbeach off to a good start with a 200-189 victory against John Clapton (r115).
John Twell (r55) levelled up things for Pyramid A winning 200-137 against Andy Spearman (r75).
Neil Harvey (r25) gave Holbeach the win by beating Reegan Cooke-Holmes (r65) 200-165.
Pyramid B are level on 37 points with their A team but are fourth in the league, they had a home win against Donington A of 5-2.
Donington’s Nigel Brasier (r50) got the visitors one up with a win against Maurice Phillipson (r75) 200-157.
But Phil Cooke (r105) and Darrell Read (r25) turned the night around with wins against Ben Wrigglesworth (r10) and Tony Scully (r35).
Gosberton moved up from ninth to sixth with a maximum 7-0 win at home to Holbeach A, wins from Marcus Pell (o40), Shane White (o25) and Des Forbes (r65) against Jason Rose (o5), John Dawson (r55) and Ben Harding (o10).
Pell making a 40 break and White a 41 break in their games.
