New-look South Holland District Council website goes live

South Holland District Council says using its website will be quicker and easier following an extensive revamp.

The new-look site – which was created in-house and went live today (February 1) – has been designed to make it simple for users to find exactly what they’re looking for.

Deputy leader Coun Malcolm Chandler said: “We’ve recently started our Digital Transformation programme, which is a four-year project and will see some significant beneficial changes.
“The main aim is to greatly improve our digital services. We want to provide our residents with digital services that are so good they choose to use them.

“The new look website tells you exactly what you need to know, makes finding what you are looking for simple and means that booking or paying for services online is even easier than before.
“We are proud of the new look and are confident that residents will like it too. We also welcome any feedback.”

Residents will soon be able to pay online for a new pilot garden waste collection scheme.

The site also displays a live feed of the council’s Twitter account, a calendar highlighting forthcoming events and meetings, and the council’s latest news releases.

The new look website can be visited at www.sholland.gov.uk.Views on it can be emailed to [email protected]
