New group clicks all the right boxes

A new social group to bring Holbeach ladies together has launched.

Clicked-in (which stands for Companionship, Laughter, Inclusion, Creative, Kindness, Enjoyment, Dreams, Improving Negativity) is a social group for women aged over 18.

The group that will meet every Friday in the Reading Rooms has been set up to allow women to get together and spend time alongside several guests.

The first meeting held recently included Taylor Made Beauty providing free taster manicures and hand massages, Beauty Inside providing free shoulder massages and Ark Kidz giving pottery painting demonstrations.

Debbie Williamson, chair of the committee overseeing Clicked-in, said: “It’s a relaxed, easy going set up so everyone can do what suits them best.

“We open at 6.30pm and guests can stay until the end at 9.30pm but are also free to just pop in for a short while.

“It’s also a great opportunity for businesses to meet new potential clients and for our guests to sample new things too.”

Local district councillor Tracey Carter, who assisted with some of the set up costs through her designated councillor budget, said: “I was extremely keen to support this group.

“I think social activities are so important for people, particularly in rural areas such as ours where sometimes people can feel quite isolated.

“I am also part of the committee so I will assist Debbie wherever I can.”

Sessions cost £2.50 to attend. You can get more information by emailing [email protected] or visiting the Clicked-in Facebook group.
