New captains at Tydd St Giles GC

Tydd St Giles Golf Club have announced the new seniors’ captain for 2026 is Jason Farmer.

His charity for the year is Kimberley Care Home Long Sutton, in support of Paul Jackson (Jacko) who suffered a fall at his home causing brain damage.

Jackson, who is a senior member at the club, was games captain for the seniors’ team and is involved with arranging seniors’ team games with other clubs around the region, is in Kimberley Care Home, being cared for by their dedicated staff.

Tydd St Giles’ new ladies’ captain for 2026 is Sue Racey.

Her charity this year is Pancreatic Cancer Action, the only charity that specifically focuses on improving pancreatic cancer survival rates through early diagnosis.

They also raise awareness of the symptoms and risk factors of pancreatic cancer.
