New ATC president

The civilian committee of 1406 Sqn Air Training Corps (Spalding) has a new president.

Wing Commander Josh Fortune commissioned into the Royal Air Force Engineer branch in 2002 and has spent much of his career working with the Tornado aircraft.

He has also been the senior engineer officer for the RAF Aerobatics Team – The Red Arrows.

Outgoing president Air Commodore Nick Carter OBE MA RAF (Retd) is stepping down after 12 years due to ill health.

1406 Sqn ATC, the staff, committee and cadets all bid a fond farewell to him.

The squadron also says a big thank you to Jo Nell who also stood down. She has been the civilian committee treasurer since 2007 and a member of the committee since 2003.
