Nebulisers given to schools

Spalding Lions have been out and about presenting state of the art nebulisers to two local schools.

Late last year Spalding Lions were approached by the charity Asthma Relief to see if they would consider helping them in providing medical breathing equipment to our area.

Spalding Lions talked to representatives of Asthma Relief and the outcome is they have been able to present both Gosberton House School and Garth School with a fully mobile nebuliser.

These nebulisers are rechargeable so when in use they do not need to be connected to a power socket which would limit the users mobility.

Lions vice-president Jean Biggadike said: “Spalding Lions are always pleased to be able to help schools with the purchase of something that will help the wellbeing of the pupils.

“As a group we work hard to raise money for our local community, giving something back is all part of the process.”
