Talented South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club youngster Hannah Willis has received her first invite to a national event.
The 11-year-old has been invited to compete at the Scottish Summer Meet which takes place this weekend at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh.
Hannah qualified for the event after swimming the 200m butterfly in 2.46.78 at the Level One Premier Meet at Ponds Forge (Sheffield) in March.
This time resulted in Hannah ending the qualifying window ranked in the top 15 in the 12/13-year-old Scottish Amateur Swimming Association rankings for that stroke.
Hannah is already looking forward to next year and hoping that, with the continued support of SLCSC head coach Callum Lawson and her drive, determination and hard work, she can gain the times needed to be invited to the British Summer Championships.
