Music for all tastes

From Abba and Elton John to the 1980s and Coldplay, there’s something to cater for all music tastes coming up at the Cresset Theatre.

The Peterborough venue has a number of musical shows on offer throughout March, starting with Arrival – The Hits of Abba on Thursday, March 3.

This high energy show features the vast catalogue of hits loved by many generations including Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Super Trouper, Voulez Vous, and many more – bringing to life the extraordinary songwriting talents of Benny and Bjorn.

Tickets are priced at £26.

The Cresset’s 80s Party Night is back on Saturday, March 5.

With the biggest 80s disco in town, loads of fun games, props and surprises and a truly spectacular fancy dress competition this is one night out you will not want to miss.

Tickets are £8.

Coldplay tribute band Coldplace are due to take at the stage on Sunday, March 6.

Coldplace know what is expected from a live tribute show – the accuracy, musicianship, dedication and passion for Coldplay’s music.

Their aim, as a tribute to one of the world’s biggest bands, is to capture the feeling of a live Coldplay performance, the music, the visuals, the energy and the atmosphere. Tickets are £24.
Living legend Elton John will be celebrated on Friday, March 11, with I’m Still Standing – The Music of Elton John.

Presenting a musical celebration of the legendary 50 year career of Sir Elton John. Featuring all of his greatest hits performed by the outstanding Joel Buckingham and backed by an amazing live band. Tickets are £26.50.
