Music event pulls in 3,000 people

Ayscoughfee Gardens were rocking on Saturday as bands took to the stage for Ayscoughfest.

Headliners JamRoom, were joined by The Penguinz, Chris Martin, Imm and Err, Replay 4, The Ripsaws, Morning Glory and students from the Rock School Bus throughout the day.

Coun Henry Bingham, portfolio holder for portfolio holder for assets and strategic planning, said: “Even with the traditional British start with rain it was great to see that the Ayscoughfest event was a great success, I’ve received some really positive feedback from people who attended on the day.

“More than 3,000 people came along to enjoy the family-friendly festival of music, games and free entertainment which speaks volumes of the efforts our communities team went to organise and deliver such a great event and thank you to Coun Mark Le Sage for assisting with the bands who were fantastic again this year.”
