More plans for Moulton Park revealed

More details of the plan to open up Moulton Park to the public have been revealed.

Change of use permission has already been agreed but conditions, including one to fund a new footpath, angered owners The John and Maureen Biggadike charity.
As a compromise, the latest plans are for a new gate to be installed at the south east corner of the site and the existing footpath being extended for around ten metres.
The documents also state that the opening hours for the park will be dawn to dusk.
“The gate will be automatically opened and closed by a solar-controlled sensor and will include an in-built locking mechanism to ensure the gates are secure when closed,” documents submitted with the application state.
