More commit to stay with Tigers

Holbeach United have announced a host of retained players.
Jordan Oldham, Sam Carter, John Yambasu, Kyle Compton, Joe Millinson, Harvey Wirchowski, Ainsley Johnson, Harvey Robertson, Ryan Cook and Will Barnes have all signed on for the Thurlow Nunn League campaign.
Manager Danny Clifton said of the last four: “You have no idea how pleased I am to have them commit.
“They’re huge players for this team and the club. I am over the moon.
“I am so pleased Jordan is staying with us for another season.
“He is such a talent and has had offers but it’s a measure of his character and attitude that he is repaying the club back for the faith they’ve put in him with another year.
“He’s a great lad and a great player.
“It’s also great to have Sam with us again. He is in his third season now and improving all the time. He’s super with the ball and will be key this year.
“John was our most consistent player last season and his experience and attributes are so valuable to the team. His attitude is first class and everyone at the club loves him.
“It was extremely important that we retained Kyle. He is integral to the team and the way we play. He’s a huge talent and a fantastic lad to be around.
“Everyone loves him and he loves the club.
“Ryan and Will are fantastic ball players and I’m very excited to be working with them again.
“They have left feet like wands.”
After a 4-0 pre-season defeat at Pinchbeck last Saturday, Holbeach were due to take on Market Deeping on Wednesday night.
