A volunteer at Moulton Harrox Cricket Club has been nominated for a top award for her work as a volunteers.
Michelle Elliot has been nominated for the Unsung Hero prize as part of the Cricket Collective Awards
The awards are overseen by Lincolnshire County Cricket with the winners to be announced later in the season.
A spokesman said: “Congratulations to Michelle who has been nominated by someone from her club.
“Michelle is Moulton Harrox’s volunteer bar manager, dedicating numerous hours per week to support and manage the bar, ensuring that the club is a welcoming environment.
“She leads numerous fundraising events and supports the whole Moulton community.
“Michelle has run the bar for several years and is a huge part of the club.
“Michelle is in the hat to potentially become one of Lincolnshire’s Cricket Collective award winners in September, when all county award winners will be announced at a celebration event.”
