Staff and students from University Academy Holbeach are reflecting on an exciting historical, geographical and cultural tour of the west coast of America.
Twenty students from Years 9 to Year 13 and five members of staff visited Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Hoover Dam, Zion National Park and The Grand Canyon.
The trip, which had been planned for a year, helped support units from the GCSE and A-Level geography curriculum.
A school spokesman said: “The tour was a great success with students visiting numerous famous landmarks.
“They were also able to take in the exciting atmosphere of Los Angeles and visited places including the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Beverly Hills.
“Staff and students all agreed that this was a trip of a lifetime and something that they will always remember.”
The party stayed in four different locations including Los Angeles and Page.
