Meet a goddess at café

A display of classic vehicles, including the latest purchased by Harold Payne, is taking place at the Anglia Motel Café in Fleet Hargate this week.

It’s being held as a fundraiser for Harold’s memorial garden next to the café.

As well as the vehicles he already has on display, including his tank, there is now also a 1956 Bedford ‘Green

Goddess’ painted red in the livery of Malta based RAF Luqa.

The vehicles will be on display from Friday (August 22) to Sunday (August 25) and all are welcome with donations towards the memorial encouraged.
