Medical centre weighs in with advice

Patients at Beechfield Medical Centre are being given extra incentive to get fit in 2019.

The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is hosting weigh-in days on Tuesday and Thursday, January 22 and 24 from 9am to 12pm.

You will be able to have your weight and BMI measured without an appointment.

Advice will be offered and you will also be invited to a future follow-up session.

Clive Green chair of the Beechfield PPG said: “We’re doing it to help people/ It’s the first one we’ve done and as a group of volunteers we’re looking to do something to help improve lives.”

The PPG alongside Birchfield Medical Centre is also looking to run events in relation to vision and mental health issues in the coming months.
