Media storm follows Joe’s She’s A Boy book release

Media organisations from across the world have been vying to speak to Spalding man Joe Holliday following publication of his autobiography She’s a Boy.
Joe (27), of Acacia Avenue, appeared on ITV’s This Morning last Wednesday, leading to an outpouring of support on social media for his bravery in telling his story.
The book has made an impact on the Amazon bestseller charts, ranking among the top ten non-fiction and biographies listings.
Joe, who was born a boy but raised a girl on medical advice, said: “There has been an overwhelmingly positive reaction towards me and the book. The last week has certainly been busy but it has been great!”
On its publication day, an extract of Joe’s book was featured in the Daily Mail and the online version of the story was shared 3,000 times and more than 400 people commented on it.
Joe has also appeared on The Daily Express and Daily Mirror websites, on BBC Look North, Radio 5 Live, two Irish radio shows, an English speaking radio station in Spain, BBC Radio Lincolnshire and a number of magazines plan to run stories about him both in England and abroad.
Joe’s book She’s A Boy is available from Amazon, £3.99 Kindle or £9.99 paperback.
