M&Co to close Spalding branch

Another shop is set to close in Spalding town centre.

M&Co on Bridge Street is to cease trading in mid-to-late February, The Voice understands.

Posters in the shop front window say ‘Your Local Store Closing Down Sale is Now On’.

It’s not clear how many members of staff are set to lose their jobs as a result of the closure.

The Voice has approached M&Co for more information.

It follows the chain closing 47 stores including its Bourne and Stamford branches last year.
