Mason’s a top salesman

A Wygate Park student has raised hundreds for charity by selling his own stuff.
Mason Scase (6), of Spalding, held a table top sale outside his nan’s house in Tallington recently to raise £340 towards the Make a Wish foundation.
He’s following in the footsteps of mum Sammie-Lee Bird who works in retail herself.
“He was in his element,” Sammie-Lee said. “He loves shops anyway and had a lot of stuff he wanted to get rid of.
“He was happy to speak to people and tell them about the toys he was selling.
“We sold drinks and had a ‘Name the Bear’ competition.
“Mason was over-whelmed with how much money he managed to raise.
“He’d picked the charity himself after looking at a few options and was inspired by Make a Wish as they help children who are a similar age to him.”
