Man’s jaw broken in Spalding street attack

A man had his jaw broken in two places after he was attacked from behind in Spalding.

Police are appealing for information about the assault which happened between midnight and 2am on Wednesday, June 11 as the victim, a 29-year-old local man, was walking along London Road, from the BP garage, towards the town.

It is believed the assault occurred between Water Lane and Vine Street.

There are no descriptions of the assailant/s and PC Ian Braid is appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time, and who may have witnessed anything that may assist the enquiry.
