Man’s head-injury death ‘not suspicious’

Police are not treating as suspicious the death of a man who was found injured in Winsover Road, Spalding.

Remigijus Muliuolis, a 34-year-old Lithuanian, who lived in the Spalding area, died at Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital on Tuesday, October 18. He had been found injured just after 7.15pm two days earlier.

A head injury has been recorded as the cause of death following a post mortem.

Initially, police were unsure whether the man’s injuries were the result of an assault. The area where he was found, outside Golden Tree, was cordoned off and there was a public appeal for information.
An inquest will be held on a date yet to be set.
