Manhunt following stabbing linked to area – £500 reward

A manhunt following a stabbing, for which a £500 reward for information has been offered, has been linked to the Gosberton/Quadring area of South Holland.

Sussex Police are on the look out for Andrew Prince (20) who is wanted in connection with an incident of GBH on October 30 in Eastbourne.

On Wednesday, December 20 Lincolnshire Police tweeted: “We are sharing this appeal on behalf of our colleagues in Sussex Police as we believe Andrew Prince may be in the Gosberton/Quadring area. Please call us on 101, quoting incident number 71of 19th Dec.”

The appeal from Surrey Police, says: “Police are offering a £500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Andrew Prince.

“Andrew Prince, 20, unemployed is believed to be frequenting the Hastings area and is wanted in connection with a GBH that took place on 30 October.

“At about 5.40pm on Monday (30 October), police were alerted to a man who had been stabbed in Lushington Lane, Eastbourne.

“The 21-year-old local victim sustained serious but not life-threatening wounds to his back, and was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton for treatment.

“Prince is also wanted on a warrant after failing to appear at Hastings Magistrates’ Court for possession of an offensive weapon. ”
