Man told to pay back thousands

A Spalding man has been fined £3,500 for selling hacked TV equipment and other counterfeit goods.

Luke David Arons (43), of Winsover Road, pleaded guilty to a host of charges dating back as far as 2018 and has been sentenced at Lincolnshire Magistrates Court.
The court was told he’d got rid of £9,622 from his bank accounts for selling IPTV (internet Protocol TV) devices and has an adapted tv box himself.
He’d also tried to stop police from finding £2,350 worth of items selling counterfeit goods. As well as paying £3,500 costs Arons was fined £200 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge.
