Man jailed for coercive control

A Sutton Bridge man who admitted controlling and coercive behaviour towards his former partner was jailed for two years and two months.
Samuel Muller (35) was also made the subject of a restraining order which prevents him from having any contact with the victim for ten years.
Muller, of Bridge Road, had been remanded into custody earlier this year after he pleaded guilty to controlling and coercive behaviour over a nine-year period.
Lincoln Crown Court heard the offence occurred between April 1, 2016 and September 17, 2025.
The court was told Muller made threats to the victim, accused her of having affairs and made repeated unwanted calls after they separated.
Recorder Simon King, imposed a jail term of 26 months and made Muller the subject of a ten-year restraining order.
