Man had baseball bat in public

A 52-year-old man has admitted having a baseball bat in a public place.

Darren Goodwin, of Lyttleport Close, Pinchbeck, pleaded guilty to having the offensive weapon without lawful or reasonable excuse at Pinchbeck on April 25.

His case was heard at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on July 17.
Goodwin was given a community order to comply with any instructions or activity as required by the responsible officer for up to a maximum of 20 days.

He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
