Man found on Spalding street has died

Police have confirmed a man found at Broad Street this morning has died and his death is being treated as unexplained.

A police spokesman said the man was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police said: “Whilst it may be a medical episode, we are working to establish if there are any possible suspicious circumstances.”

Broad Street remains closed and a scene guard in place while police continue investigations.

Police said the report came in at 06:32 this morning.

Police are appealing to anyone who saw anything relevant to call 101 with incident reference 49 of 20 December.
