Man admits sexual offences against 15-year-olds

A Spalding man has been warned that he faces jail after admitting offences involving two 15 year old girls.

Neil Richard Amess, 34, of Gaunt Close, Spalding, pleaded guilty at Lincoln Crown Court to charges of sexual activity with a child, meeting a child following sexual grooming and sexual communication with a child involving one of the girls.

He also admitted a further charge of sexual communication with a second 15 year old girl.

All four offences occurred during August 2017.

Judge Simon Hirst adjourned sentence to a later date and Amess was released on bail.

The judge  told Amess “I will allow you to remain on bail to put your affairs in order. You have pleaded guilty to serious offences. You will receive a significant prison sentence.”

Amess was placed on the sex offenders’ register and will be told what period of time this will be for when he is sentenced.
