Man admits house burglaries

A Spalding man has been remanded into custody after he admitted carrying out two house burglaries in Lincolnshire and he was charged with a third offence in Essex.

Paulius Strabeika, 27, is due to be sentenced at Lincoln Crown Court after he pleaded guilty to two domestic burglaries in July this year.

Strabeika, of Holbeach Road, Spalding, admits stealing household items to a value unknown from a property in Chaldean Way, Spalding, on July 6 this year.

He has also pleaded guilty to taking footwear, toiletries and other household items from a house in Chestnut Avenue, Donington, on July 25, 2023.

A hearing at Lincoln Crown Court was told Strabeika has also appeared before Chelmsford Crown Court where he faces another burglary charge.

Strabeika is charged with a domestic burglary at an address in Mount Crescent, Brentwood, Essex, on August 30 this year.

Following that hearing on September 25, Strabeika was remanded into custody by a District Judge.

He will next appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on October 23 for a plea and trial preparation hearing on the Essex burglary.

Strabeika will then be sentenced for the Lincolnshire offences at the conclusion of the Essex matters.
