Mammoth £10,500 month for donations by Holbeach charity shop Chosen

Holbeach charity shop Chosen had a very generous October – donating a huge £10,500 to good causes.

Proceeds from the Fleet Street shop went to:

  • Royal Anglian Regiment (£3,000)
  • Royal Lincolnshire and Royal Anglian Regimental Association (£2,000)
  • Children With Cancer UK and Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (£2,000)
  • Holbeach St Johns Over 50s (£500)
  • Holbeach Sports Academy (£1,000)
  • Hearing Dogs for the Deaf (£1,000)
  • Saracen’s Head Xmas meal (£500)
  • Karma Cave Greyhound Rescue (£500)

Chosen treasurer Iris Boland said: “October was an exceptionally good month.
“I would like to thank everyone that helped make this happen – our dedicated volunteers, and both customers buying and the people donating goods.
“Without them, there would be no Chosen.”
