Mahon leads the charge

Crowland Town and Holbeach United Reserves both won against higher-placed opponents in the GCE Hire Fleet Peterborough League Senior Cup.

Klyden Lleshi 2, Archie Rickards 2 and Sam Leggatt were on target for Crowland in a 5-1 win against holders Oakham United while the Tigers, who had gone seven league matches without a win, found glory in the cup as Brandon Mahon 2, Warren Hebblethwaite and Liam Barnett struck in a 4-1 victory against Uppingham Town.
In the Premier Division, Moulton Harrox recorded back-to-back wins for the first time this season, seeing off Ramsey Town 3-0 thanks to goals from Jacob Drew 2 and Declan Earth.
Long Sutton Athletic climbed off the foot of the Division One table with a 5-2 victory over Wittering Premiair Development XI. A first win in eight matches came courtesy of goals from Jack Greenacre 2, Jordan Nyang, Jamal Nyang and Jamie Taylor.
Robert Parker-Meadows, Adam Richardson and Sam Moakes struck to keep Whaplode Drove Rovers among the front runners thanks to a 3-1 win against Park Farm Pumas.
