Magic Mick makes fourth hole in one en-route to victory at Sutton Bridge

Sutton Bridge Golf Club member Mick Vassall celebrated his fourth career hole-in-one at the course last Saturday.

Vassall holed out on the 11th hole (par 3, 108 yards) en-route to winning the Cross Cup with a nett 72.

Results: Collins Cup – 1st Mike & Brenda Bell 40pts; 2nd Glen and Jane Woolard 34 points.

Other results: September Medal – 1st Sarah Sheldrick; 2nd Nicky Elphick; 3rd Diane Wareham.

Cross Cup – 1st Mick Vassall gross 80 (nett 72); 2nd Jonathan Shippey gross 83 (nett 73).

August Texas Scramble – 1st Robert Smith, Sid Warner, Paula Brown and Glen Woolard; 2nd Sarah Sheldrick, Nicky Elphick, Roy Fox and Roger Brown.
