Macmillan fundraiser

Pop along to Whaplode Village Hall on Monday and help raise cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Organised by Mary Botham, Brenda Morris, Carol Houlden and Trish Bleck, the event will run from 10am to 4pm.

Attractions include adult and children’s tombolas, Water or Wine, Strings (prize every time), the chance to win a bottle of Whyte and Mackay whisky, guessing games and a raffle to be drawn by John Hayes MP.

Stalls include cakes, fresh produce, jams/preserves, books, craft items and bric-a-brac, or just drop in for a cuppa and a piece of cake.

All proceeds will go to Macmillan to help support nurses and professionals working with cancer patients in Lincolnshire.

Thanks go to the village hall committee which has allowed use of the hall free of charge.
