Lottery boost for Fleet park

Fleet Parish Council has been getting into the swing of things thanks to a National Lottery grant.

It’s been awarded £428 from the National Lottery Awards For All fund for its project Fleet Community Playing Field – Safe Swings for the Next Generation.

Coun Paul Barnes said: “This means we have been able to replace the worn swing chains in the play area – keeping it safe, sturdy, and welcoming for the many families, children and visitors who enjoy it all year round.

“The park is at the heart of the parish – it’s where children make friends, parents catch up and grandparents watch with a smile. This funding helps keep it that way. A huge thank you to everyone who plays the National Lottery – your support helps make projects like this possible.”
